A place for spare throws
Lift the ottoman lid to store throws between uses. Close it to use the cushioned top as a footrest beside your sofa.
Your drink, close at hand
Fold down the tray to use its two cup holders while you read or watch a film. Your drinks have a place beside the seating.
Move the footrest to your seat
Position the movable ottoman separately or in front of a sofa seat for another place to put your feet up. It moves independently of the sectional, so you can adjust its position around your seating and walking space.

Mark out both footprints
Use painter's tape to mark a 98 × 69.5 in rectangle as the outer planning boundary for the L-shaped sofa. Then mark a separate 29 × 19.5 in area for the ottoman where you plan to place it.
Leave room to walk and open the lid
Place your coffee table within the plan, then check your usual walking routes and nearby doors. Leave room around the ottoman to lift its lid and reach the storage inside.
Check the delivery route
Measure doorways, hallways, stairs and tight turns. Confirm packed carton dimensions before delivery if access is limited; assembled sofa dimensions do not confirm delivery clearance.
